Ilmalanrinne 1

The office building complex consisting of three office building volumes of six to seven floors and the three-storey joint sections between them is located south of Hakamäentie and north of the Ilmala water towers.

The site is a customisable complex of office buildings that can be adjusted to include traditional offices, combi-offices or multi-space offices.

In addition to the office areas, the building includes a cafeteria on the ground-level upper basement and shared meeting rooms on floors 0 to 2. The entrance hall on the southern side of the joint section of building A and its mezzanine meeting rooms is a welcoming entrance to the entire complex.

There are also rooms for exercising and social facilities as well as plenty of parking spaces for bikes in the basement. The parking spaces are located in two levels in the basement.

The façades of the building complex are plastered, and their rocky materials are harmonious with the surrounding architectural solutions. The scale of colours matches the adjacent landmarks of the Ilmala water towers, beginning with dark reddish brown, becoming lighter towards Ilmalantori and finally joining the even lighter building volumes east and south of Ilmalantori. The cascading and ascending arrangement of ribbon windows follow the dynamic nature of the busy adjacent Hakamäentie, adjoining the site’s architecture with the surrounding urban environment in a natural way.
