Helsinki Highrise, competition entry

The City of Helsinki arranged a competition to design and construct the southern part of the Pasila district. We engaged in multi-professional cooperation, and our group suggested building high and majestic structures that allow the members of society to use the yards and the highest peaks of the buildings. In technical terms, the buildings are based on new ecologically efficient solutions that aim to ensure self-sufficiency in the consumption of energy. When it comes to landscaping, we were able to re-assign the railyard as a new green park in the heart of Helsinki, thanks to the efficiency of the towers. Functionalities previously missing in the area are located at the foot of the towers, creating a lively scene throughout the day.

We are happy to provide further information about our proposal.
